 The Labour Movement played a pivotal role in the fight against apartheid and ACTSA continues to work very closely with trade unions in Britain and southern Africa.
In 2004 ACTSA launched the Africa Matters campaign with Amicus (now Unite). This campaign gave British trade unionists an insight into trade unionism in southern Africa. To learn more about the campaign click here.
As part of ACTSAs campaign work it collaborates with other organisations in coalitions. This enables ACTSA to be actively involved in many areas of development and equality. ACTSA currently campaigns along side partners in the following coalitions:
