Sir,
Even though I’m a student leader I’m writing this in my personal capacitas.
The University of Swaziland (UNISWA) was supposed to open for the 2011/12 academic year on Monday, August 8, 2011. However, this was not the case as the University indefinitely postponed the opening of the University. The major reason is that there are not enough resources to run the institution. Since the University is a government parastatal, it largely depends on government for money. All these will have a serious bearing on the students of UNISWA. Read the rest of this entry »

Leaders of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) should address the worrying human rights situations in Malawi, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and Angola, Human Rights Watch said in a letter today to Dr. Tomaz Salomão, the executive secretary.
