This summer South Africa hosts the FIFA World Cup, the largest international event on African soil ever.

ACTSA has produced a range of packs for individuals, organisations and schools to help you plan your World Cup activities this summer.

Activities pack - contains ten simple things for communities, individuals and workplaces to do to promote southern Africa ranging from a sweepstake to celebrating Football Fridays.

Local Authorities pack - encourages local authorities to promote and coordinate activities to celebrate the World Cup, reaffirm solidarity, celebrate diversity and tackle racism.

Football and freedom schools pack - created with the NUT the pack is designed for teachers to use children’s interest in football to explore South Africa’s history, culture and context.
