ACTSA’s internship programme provides invaluable experience of working in a dynamic campaigning environment. They
are ideal for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the international
development sector and with an interest in the issues affecting southern
Africa.
There are currently no internship vacancies. Please check this page regularly for opportunities as they arise.
Being an intern at ACTSA
We
have between one and three interns at any one time, working alongside
four full time staff, forming an integral part of the ACTSA network.
Interns will have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of ACTSA’s
activities.
ACTSA benefits enormously from the diversity of backgrounds and
knowledge in our interns. We seek people who can work well within our
dynamic team, but who also possess the initiative and confidence to
develop their own projects, with our support.
On this page we
advertise vacancies for committed and enthusiastic individuals to
volunteer for ACTSA when they become available. Internships last for
three months and most are full-time (Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm) but can be
part-time. Internships are unpaid and voluntary, but we can help by
paying travel within London and lunch expenses.
Interns
work with ACTSA staff in our offices at Victoria. Interns also often
get the opportunity to attend external meetings and often get involved
in ACTSA events.
