Youth and Student Delegation to Southern Africa 2008

In June 2008 ACTSA took a delegation, funded by Coca Cola GB, of ten youth and student leaders to South Africa and Swaziland, enabling them to engage with their counterparts in southern Africa and build and deepen solidarity between their respective organisations.

The delegation lasted 12 days between 9th and 21st June 2008 and included delegates from the National Union of Students, British Youth Council, Liberal Youth, Compass Youth and the Young Fabians, a number of which are active in the trade union movement.

Throughout the delegation participants took it in turns to record their activities in a daily blog. Click on the links below to find out what happened on each day.
